Hello from Brazil!! It is really cool down here. The houses are really interesting. Some of them look like they are made out of wood and stuff we would throw away, and that's because they are. It's a little different. Pedestrians have no rights so you have to watch out for buses and cars, and motorcycles so you don't die:) You would not believe how many motorcyclists there are! It's crazy. They are weaving in and out of traffic. I'm just waiting for one to get hit.
Oh, I'm here and I'm safe. :) So the plane ride was so long!! I was going crazy! And I still am, I'm soooo tired. I only slept for about 1/2 of the 10 hr. flight, and they won't let us get any sleep till at least 8:00. So I barely have any energy to stand! :)
Oh, Mom, I need my yellow fever booklet thing. It's yellow and the lady had me sign it and stuff. I need it to come home in two years. The food here is interesting. Rice and beans :) plus other stuff.
My companion is Elder Keliiliki (pronounced Kay-lee-e-lee-key). He's Hawaiian. He was in SLC with us.
Thanks for the letters everyone! I loved them. :)
So apparently, everyone says it's easier to know Portuguese and then learn Spanish then the other way . :( Great huh. I am so lost when they speak in Portuguese, but it will come!
Give everyone my love! I love you all so much! Hey Mikey, make a few 3's in bball for me tonight. :)
Love you!!
Elder Wilson
Fist Bro!
