Dear Família,
So how is every one doing? i am doing better than last week. :) once again we didn't baptize which really sucks but other than that life is going on normal as usual. this week i went to the hospital to see a doctor and do some exams, and i still have a kidney stone in my kidney and some are going down already. the doctor said that they only start to hurt when they start to descend. soooo.. yeah.. the doc gave me some medicine to take, but unfortunately it isn't doing anything. the pains remain the same, terrible. so i will call up sister to see what she said. i don't know if i am able to talk directly to the mission doctor. usually we have to call the sister when something is wrong and then she tell us what to do. but i will give her a call. other than that things are normal.
This week we had a conference with Presidente. it was really good. it gave me a spiritual boost that i was really needing. it was interesting because a lot of the things that he said where things that i was needing to hear.
oh, just to let you know, the other day our lunch appointment fell through so i took my comp out to eat. and then today our allowance didn't come and we don't have any more money because we have to get a lot of buses in my area, and a lot of times the members forget we have a lunch appointment with them, so we have been spending a lot of money on food and buses. so today i got more money out of my account so that we can eat and work until the allowance comes.
oh, and where you guys able to talk to that sister here that will send your packages? an elder at the conference said that she got them sent off again. so keep an eye out on the mail man.
well family, that's about all that i have got for this week. oh, did you guys send my garments and diario yet? if not, throw my rubiks cube in as well. ;)
I love you all!!! the church is true and Thomas S. Monson is a true Profeta!!! Cristo is our Savior and Redeemer!!!!!
michael and dallin... good luck with your battle of the bands gig!!! KICK BUTT!!!!!!

Hey......January 18, 2010
hey family,
so this week was really rough. after working all week long and preparing a girl to be baptize on sunday, she decided she didn't want to be baptized right now, and then instead of going to church went to the beach. and almost all of our other investigators didn't go to church as well. we had 2 investigators at church. 2 men. one has to get married and his wife doesn't want to and the other one doesn't want to leave his church. so i basically have no one to baptize this week again. this will be the 5th week in a row i haven't baptize if something doesn't work out. i am really frustrated, i have never gone so long with out baptizing, and i am a district leader so i have to set an example for my district. huh... so yeah, i am stressed out. but, i hope something will work out.
so we are teaching a family really special. it is really amazing how fast you can love someone when you are serving them. i really have a love for this family and hope that they will except the gospel. we have been teaching them for about 2 weeks. we took the bishopric over there last week and the lesson went really good. and this week they were planning on going to church, but they live really far from the chapel, so we asked an irmão to pick them up and he forgot to pass by there. so that really sucked. so we called them up to say sorry and all.
wow, so this week was really a bagunça. but it's all good, things like this all ways happen. and this week i was having crazy dores in my kidneys. it was terrible.
wow, sorry this e-mail is crappy. so something good that happened this week... our family is going good. they are excepting all our messages. and the bispado is really excited and open and willing to help. and the other ward tambem wants to help alot! so those are all things really good.
hey everyone, thanks so much for the e-mails! it was great to hear how every one is doing! i hope you all have a great week!! the church is true!!!! Cristo is our Savior and redeemer!!!!!!
I love you all!!!!!!!!!!

Sup Familia Wilson.....January 11, 2010
Dear Familia,
E ai!? So how is everyone doing? How was the week? It sounds like you guys are doing well. I am doing good. My new comp is Elder Dzikovicz. His name is polish. Cool huh. He is preaty neat. A little crazy but its all good.
So i am in two wards again. The ward Natal and the ward Pirangí. As i said last week my área is freakin huge. It is crazy. But things are going good. The two wards are working really good and are excited to help us. So i am glad about that. It makes my work easier and everything flows better when everyone works together.
Wow, Jeff is already going home! How crazy is that! I cant believe it! It seems like He left yesterday! Heck, it seems like i left yesterday!
I can’t believe that you guys are going to Hawaii again! How cool. I’m jealous. Just a little, because here i have everything that Hawaii hás, but unfortunately i cant go to the beach. Which really sucks. So hey, we need to plan a trip to visit Brasil after my mission. I think it would be cool to visit during december, because all the wards here Will be doing parties and then you guys can meet all the members! It would be sweet! Christmas in Natal! Just an Idea. ;) anyways....
So we are teaching a family really cool. Last night we took the Bishop and a counselor and the ward mission leader to visit the fam. We had a really good lesson about eternal families and then we spent about ½ hr. answering some questions that the pai had. It was pretty cool. And the Bishop was really pleased with the work we are doing. So that made me happy to know that i have his confidence. I still haven’t meet the other bishop yet because He is traveling in rio de janeiro. But yeah.
Well sorry this letter is short, but i have run out of things to say. Soooooo....
The Church is true!!! The Book of Mórmon is true, and Thomas S. Monson is a profet of God!!!! I hope you all have a great week!!!!!! I Love you all!!!!! Tchau

Feliz Ano Novo!!!!! January 1, 2010
Sup family!!!
so how was everyone's new years eve? what did you guys do? did you guys have fireworks? did Ivins do fireworks?
mine was okay. my comp. elder gilliland, is a new missionary, and so he just wanted to sleep because he was tired. So he went to sleep and i stayed awake alone, waiting for the new year to come in. there were a bunch of fireworks here, and it was pretty cool. they were so loud that it woke up my comp.
oh yeah, so i got "emergency" transfered again! i returned to Natal. and i was called district leader again. so i was pretty excited/stressed about that. but it will be good. so my area is the center of Natal. we have all of the shopping malls in my area! but unfortunately its against the rules of the mission to enter. and we have the biggest shopping mall in the northeast of brasil in my area! so that kinda sucks that we can't enter, but oh well. and i am taking care of two wards. and the areas of these wards are huge!!!!!!!!! it is about an hour walk from my house to the church. but luckily we have some members with cars here who will help us take investigators to the church.
oh, and we have a bunch of pizza places in our area, and chinese and a place called bob's burgers which is almost exactly like an arctic circle at home!!!! its so good!!!!! but really expensive. about 20 reis per person, so like 10 bucks for a meal. but it is way good!!!! so my area is so big that i can get a bus and ride on the bus for 45 min and i will still be in my area. it's terrible! hahahahaha. so yeah, but its all good. so elder gilliland is on his 2nd transfer, yes, he's american. but he is already talking portugues really good. way better than i was with his time. he was trained and started his mission in Nova Republica, my first area. so that was cool, when i left there the second time, he arrived. so we have already had the same comp.
so can you believe that i will go home this year!!! Wow!!! its already 2010!!!!! I can't believe it!!!!! it is so wierd to think that i will be going home in 8 months. crazy huh. i don't know if i am excited or sad. i'm kind of both of them.
so is everyone excited for this new year? eu estou, tenho opurtunidade de trabalhar e ser uma pessoa different! fazer novo metas! estou animado! vai ser bom de mais! so is everyone making your new years resolutions? i have a few made up, but i am going to make some more. and it's not only important to make some goals, but an action plan of how you will accomplish your goals. my Presidente has been talking alot about making plans of how you will change to reach your goals. it is something that i am trying to put in practice. so lets see what happens. one of my goals is to gain weight. hahaha. i think my problem was that i was drinking that smoothie i told you about, açai, everyday. but now that it is more expensive here in Natal i wont drink as much.
well, now that you guys have a book, i'll end it here. oh, and sorry i am not sending any fotos. the freakin comp is gay and the usb port doesn't work. I love you all!!! The chruch is true!!! Jesus Cristo é nosso Salvador e Redentor!!!! the Book of mormon is true!!!!

Bad Experience 2....December 7, 2009

Dear Família,
hey guys so whats up with every one? sounds like everyone is doing good and that things are going good at home.
so i am doing good. this week was pretty crazy. actually, yesterday was pretty crazy. so if you all remember, a while back i had a problem with my kidneys. well i have been feeling the same kind of pains lately but i was always forgetting to call sister at night because i was and am always so tired and have a lot to do. Well yesterday we went to get Palianna, a 20 yr old girl, who would be interviewed and then baptized. well when we arrived at the church, i started to feel a really bad pain, about where my kidneys are. the same kind of thing that i felt the last time but this time it was getting worse. so i grabbed my comp and elder stacey to give me a blessing while polianna was being interviewed. then after her interview we started the baptism. but this whole time the pain was just getting worse, until during the baptism i was doing all i could to stay seated and not start crying. well after she was baptized, she went to change her clothes and i went and laid down on a bench and basically started crying because the pain was so bad. so my dl called sister and a taxi to take me to the hospital after the baptism was over. oh, and i threw up before we went to the hospital. so at the hospital, i got two injections, one in the butt that left me really sore, and another in the hand. and i am now taking some medication to help with the pain and to not get a fever and stuff. but i will have to have another exam to know for sure if i have a kidney stone. so yeah, that was my adventure for yesterday. i am alot better now mom, so don´t freak out. :) i am feeling better and i am able to work with out a problem. so don't wory. ;) i wasn't sure if i should have told you guys just because i don't want mom to freak out, but, i thought you would like to hear my epic story. it was pretty crazy. but i learned alot from that experience already. in the blessing i received, it said i would be blessed with the strength i need to face the pains and afflictions that i would face. and i was. it is interesting that the lord didn't just take my pain away, but that he wants me to learn something from it. i also remembered that our savior has already felt that pain and so much more. He has passed through so much pain and suffering for us. I am more grateful for my Savior and all He did for me. because i felt alot of pain in that moment, but our Savior passed through so much more.
Family, I know that this is the true chruch! Jesus Cristo is our Savior!! He loves all of us very much!!! I am so grateful for his sacrifice and for our opportunity to repent and try to do what is right. I love you all!!!!!! until next week!!!!

Did you say cow nipples?....November 30, 2009
Dear Family,
Hey everyone!!! So how the Heck are ya?!?!! Can you believe it, I’m finally sending you guys an e-mail. Legal né? So ya, I was pretty dang excited about today! To receive all of your e-mails and finally no how you guys are doing. And to be able to write you guys! Sorry that you guys received few letters from me during this past transfer. Letters are not my strong point. ;) sorry.
So I got transferred again. I am now in Paraiba, a city called Guarabira, in the mission district. My new companion is Elder Oliveira. He has 8 months in the mission and he is pretty cool. Sometimes he thinks he is senior and it drives me crazy, but I just let him think that and I work harder. Hahaha, I think he is my first companion that has already driven me nuts in the first week of the transfer. But it’s all good, I am learning patience with him.
So I have a bunch of pictures to send you guys, but this computer is a piece of crap. It took 20 min just to open your letter to read it. So I will have to send them next week.
Novidades, I had two baptisms with Elder Trage last transfer. Two young men. We ate ice cream everyday of the week, except for Sunday, because it was just 1 real. A member has a monkey there so I got to pet a monkey and take pictures with him! And I ate cow nipples! You guys are probably totally disgusted by that one! Hahaha but you know what, I was the one who bought it to try it out! And it wasn´t bad. It tasted like beef, but just a little chewy. I’d eat it again.
Please tell grandpa and grandma Wilson hi for me. I have received about 3 letters from them and still haven’t gotten one off, so please say sorry as well, and that I am very grateful for the letters.
So how was Thanksgiving? I didn’t even realize that it had passed by until Elder Stacey, a new American in my house said that it had passed. I had completely forgotten about it. But when I remembered I got really trunky for moms apple pie and for all of the great food at grandma gubler’s!
So I haven’t received any package but I probably will in the 14, the day of the zone conferences. And did you guys receive any packages? You should be receiving 4 packages this week, if you haven’t gotten them yet. It’s your Christmas Presents. There is one for mom and dad, one for chanae and bryce, and on for mikey and one for dallin. So in total 4. I hope that you guys like whats in side. And I have some other stuff that I want to send home but I don’t know when I will be able to get it off. I’ll try and do it soon.
Dallin, Congratulations on getting ordained a priest! That is way cool! I can’t believe that you are freakin 16 yrs. Old!!!!!!!! Holy Crap dude!!!! Hey, got your drivers license yet? Parábens!!!! And Happy Birthday!!!!!!
Thanks for the e-mails and letters everyone!! I love you all!! You’re the best family Ever!!!!! Send my love to all the grandparents and family!!!! Have a great week!!! The church is true!!!! There's a First Time for Everything!!! ...... Sept. 28, 2009
Oí Família,
so how the crap is everyone? :) so grandma and grandpa left today for hawaii huh? Crazy! is there mission 1 1/2 yrs? so in other words, i'll get home before they do. legal! hey, do you think grandpa would let me use his scooter when i get home, seeing as i wont have a vehicle and all? ;) hahahaha just kidding.
so you would not believe what happened this week! as i said in the title. theres a first for everything, and i am realizing that you pass through almost every experience possible in the mission! so lets go...
on wednesday, i did splits with my zone leader. so i had a great day planned out and i was going to work his butt off! but as we know, things don't always go as planned. and it all started out in the morning. we walked about 20 min to a compromisso and when we arrived there i was feeling sick, drained of energy and i was having a pain in my back, about where my kidneys are( i have been having this pain since august. it come and goes, and some times it really sucks!). then we walked to our lunch and in the front of the house of the brother i threw up 2 times in the road. I thought it was because of the sun and maybe a lack of water. so we decided to eat at home. when we arrived i went to use the bathroom and i was peeing blood. a little wierd i thought, and i decided i would call Sister fernandes that night to talk to her about it. so after lunch we left to work, I was feeling a little better, still had the pain in my back and now one in the front, like a pain in the stomach. and we ended up walking the whole area because all of my compromissos fell through!!!!!!!! all of them!!!! we finally taught one lesson at 6 and then went to a ward family night to end the day at 7:30. but other than that it was just walking from house to house and talking with a ton of people in the road all day! it was really the worst day i have seen in the mission! and even better that i was with my zone leader and he will tell everything to President! oh gloria.... so yeah. it pretty much sucked. oh, and to end the day i was peeing blood again. so i tried to call sister fernandes and finaly got a hold of her the next night, and she said that the next day, friday, i had to go to the hospital to get some tests done. oh gloria de novo!...
so we went to the hospital, and they did some tests (luckily it was a really nice hospital), and they didn't find anything. the doc said it was possible that i had a kidney stone, but when i peed blood that it passed. but personally i think it was the blessing that my comp and another elder gave me. so yeah. talk about crazy.
and yesterday!!!! wow, pense de um dia! we had 3 baptisms yesterday. everyone was in the cool white jumpsuits ready to go, when we realize that the doors to the font were locked. so we send the ward mission leader to find the keys. no one in the bishopric had a key, so they went to the house of the other bishop, tambem he didn't have key. we tried to take the door off by removing the hinges. but after an hour of running around and trying everything.....what happened..... we had to remark the baptism for another day! it really sucked!!!!!!! everyone was excited and ready to go, but thats life neh. so yeah, it really sucked. but we will have the baptize wednesday night. so that will be good
oh, and guess what else happened. (wow, this week was full of events) i lost my memory card to my camera with 5 months of pictures on it! i took the card to print fotos, and that night when we returned home, it was gone. i think it fell out of my pocket in the middle of the road! so yeah. i had more then 300 fotos on it. so i was pretty ticked about that. hey, have you guys sent my other memory card yet, if not please send it.
But, amongst all of the trials and problems and stress, the church is still true! :) The book of Mormon is true! and Jesus Cristo is our Savior and Redeemer and He loves us!!! thanks for the e-mails and all of your love and support!!!!! I love you all so much!!!!!!!!!

and yesterday!!!! wow, pense de um dia! we had 3 baptisms yesterday. everyone was in the cool white jumpsuits ready to go, when we realize that the doors to the font were locked. so we send the ward mission leader to find the keys. no one in the bishopric had a key, so they went to the house of the other bishop, tambem he didn't have key. we tried to take the door off by removing the hinges. but after an hour of running around and trying everything.....what happened..... we had to remark the baptism for another day! it really sucked!!!!!!! everyone was excited and ready to go, but thats life neh. so yeah, it really sucked. but we will have the baptize wednesday night. so that will be good
oh, and guess what else happened.
