Can you say 6?!.....August 3, 2009

Hey Família!
how is everyone at home doing? thanks for all the emails! it is great to hear from everyone and know what is going on back home.
so this week was pretty good but i am glad that it is over because i am and was stressed out de mais!!! (to much). so this week we baptized 6 jovens! it was pretty sweet!!! it was the most that i have baptized in a week! and in 2 weeks we have already baptized 10! we baptized 6 and the other dupla baptized 3! so the foto this week is even cooler than last week!! but unfortunately i forgot my to bring my camera. sorry. i even forgot my money today but my comp said he´d hook me up. so i will have to send the foto next week. but i am already stressed about this week because we only took 1 investigator to church. so we have to work like crazy this week to try to find more people to teach and prepare for baptism. but we have about 3 people that we can baptize this week. we just have to tirar there doubts and pray that they will have the desire to be baptized.
so all is going good with my comp. he likes to work hard so i am glad about that. some days we have been waking up early to study earlier so we could leave earlier to teach more people. this week alone we taught more than 40 lessons, and usually a dupla teaches 20 in a week. but we did splits to so that helped us teach so many. My comp is a little wierd though. but all he talks about is g irls and i am constantly telling him to shut up, especially because brazilians aren't shy about saying anything! but at least we are working hard. so our baptisms.. we baptized 3 young woman 2 y.m. and a primary boy that loves church! (i taught him how to say your crazy and now he just runs around saying it! its pretty funny) their names are Maricia, with 16 yrs., her sister mikyelly with 14yrs., oseane (rosy) with 15yrs., david w/ 13yrs. and antonio w/ 13 yrs. and Denilson w/ 11yrs.
so you can you believe it will make 11 months this month! only one more year and i am in Casa!! that is crazy that one year has almost passed by already!
so that is pretty sweet that you guys will put grass in the backyard finally! que pena that i am not there to help! :) hahaha.... but i'm sure that i will enjoy it when i get home!
Hey chanae! those pics are pretty sweet! thanks for the email! i hope you know i was just kidding you about never emailing me:) but it worked neh, you emailed me! ;) so are you still at tuacahn? whats bryce been up to these days?
Michael- hey congrats on getting your job back dude. thats good that you are working again. so what else is new? what have you been up to this summer, just skim boarding? dang, i miss the water and going to the lake!
Dad- the weather here is so freaking hot! not to bad, but it is summer here again, it really never cools off. so during the night, it's like at home during the summer, the nights have the same feeling. so how is it with out the boat, do you guys still got to the lake with bryce and the jet ski´s?
thanks for all that you guys do for me! i love you all so much! i know that this church is true! Jesus Cristo is our savior and redeemer!! I know that we have a living profet in our days!!! and that Families are eterno!!! Eu estou praying for voces everyday and i know that Heavenly father will bless us if we are faithful! I love you all!!!!!

Transfers, Chamados, Batismos.. July 27, 2009

Dear familia,

Thanks for all of the e-mails!! it was great to hear from all of you! Sorry but this e-mail will probablay be a little short today, i am short on time.
so i got transfered. back to natal, and actually back to the same zone. if you remember, i was in the ward cidade do sol with elder pereira, well presidente closed the area because they were still having problem with the bishop and e. pereira and his comp started working in potengi, (which already had a companionship there). so i got transfered to Potengi as senior companhion and i am with Elder Lopes, who was comp with elder pereira just barely. so i basically just returned to where i was. but we had to start from nothing. because there is already a dupla here, so we were running like crazy to get a teaching group and find baptisms. and guess what, we found 4! my first sunday as senior and 4 baptisms. it was pretty sweet!! i am sending home a bunch of pics, one is with us four missionaries and all of our baptisms (the other couple had 3 baptisms) it is an awesome foto!
we baptized a girl named Deuse (daisy) with 15 yrs, and two young men with 14 and 13 yrs, Danilo and DuDú, and a 11 yr old boy, lucas. and this next week we already have 2 firme for baptism! with a few other possibles. so it will be sweet!
Well thanks for everything! i'll go home now and make up some cake! thanks for evreything! i love you all!!! the church is true!!!!

Elder Wilson!!!

p.s. that pic of my birthday party was freaky hilarious! and the cake looked pretty dang good!!

10 Mezes!!!.....July 13, 2009

Caro Família,

First of all I want to thank all you guys for the e-mails you sent me! this week has been a little rough, interview with the President and a few stresses with my comp, but it always lighten my spirits when i get an e-mail from all of you! so thank you so much! i am already feeling way better.
so this week, like i said, was stressful and crazy. But Good because we had a baptism on wednesday! We baptized Darci. so now we just have to work with the dad of this family and we will have baptized the entire family. but like i´ve said he will take alot of work to help him realize the importance of baptism and to change somethings in his life. but i hope and pray that the Lord will help him and us. so a really funny thing happened at the baptism with some brownies but you guys will have to wait another week because i wrote it all in a letter to send home today.:) so i hope you don't die from the excitement and waiting(?). (i don't remember the word i want to use).
so i am going to send a whole bunch of fotos home. i think 10. some of us by one of the beachs in our area, and of the baptism.
so YES!!! there is a Pizza Hut in my mission! one to be exact! and it is really close to my area, In João Pessoa. so we went the other day. i payed for my comp and another elder and they payed me back afterwards. the only thing is that it is a freakin 20 reais for buffet. it is the exact same crust but they have different styles of pizza here. the only thing that is the same is the pepperoni and the cheese. but its good!
and the water is not in our house, it is in the road. i took the pic from our house which is higher than the road because of this problem. and no it's not mold on the outside wall, just the crappy paint here is peeling away. the paint here is really really crappy! like seriously! it's weird!
so we went to the hospital the other day to visit a little g irl from our ward that is sick. and i realized how young the north east really is. the hospital here in Cabedelo is horrible! i think i would leave more sick then when i entered. it is way sad. it is like a first world country type of thing, but a little better. i couldn't believe it, i felt so bad for the people there. it made me realize how good of a life we have back home! and how grateful i am! we also found a favela(sorry don't remember the word) by the beach, and the houses there are basically made out of drift wood and what ever the people can get there hands on. it is so sad. i couldn't believe people where living there. my eyes were opened alot this week! we are such a blessed family!! you have no idea! our everyday life is so good compared to some of these people here!!
Dad- so i forgot that lazarus wasn't ressurected. just brought back from the dead, along with the other two people. It is really interesting when you start to study about the Plan of Salvation and all that our Father has done for us! the Plan is so perfect! everyone is capable of returning to live with our Father again. we just hvae to make the choice! how marvalous!! i love this church!!! this gospel is so amazing!!!!
thank you everyone for everything!!! thanks for the package!!!!! i am excited to open my presents next week!!! thank you so much for everything!! i Love you guys so much!!!! Your the best family ever!!!!! Good luck with all!!!!!!! My prayers are always with you guys!!!!

Eai Gringo!.....July 6, 2009

Hey Família, so how is everyone doing in the wonderful weather up there? hahaha 100 freakin degrees!!!! I'm doing ok, it is raining alot here! In cabadelo they don't have a good drainage system, so if it starts to rain really hard the roads start to flood!! on saturday it started to rain about 4 in the morning and when we woke up at 6:30 the road in front of our house had more than a foot of water!!! and when it came time to leave at 10:30 it was still raining! so we rolled up our pants, carried our shoes and left wading through the water! in some places the water was almost over my knees!!! but about 2 blocks later we were able to put on our shoes again. our house sits in a bowl basically, so we get a ton of water. so this week i found out that cabedelo is surrounded by beach on three sides!!! and it is all pretty close to our house! in the early morning (when it's not raining) i can here the waves crashing on the beach! its pretty cool! So we already Baptized Tamara's little brother Bruno. he was my first baptize in this area. and on wednesday we will Baptize her Mom, Darçi! we are way excited! so you will receive a letter telling you a little bit more about Tamara and her dad. Basically he just likes to drink and spend time with his friends. but on saturday we had a family home evening at there house and we got the oppurtunity to teach him the first lesson!! it was a miracle!!! and he accepted to read and to pray!!!! Miracles are really happening in that house! in the past he chased the missionaries away, but now he is slowly accepting us! One day this guy will be baptized!!! I know it!! It would be so cool if I am here, but all in the lords time!! so we let the person getting baptized chose who will baptize them, and until now i haven't baptized anyone so we don't have a problem with the pants, but if i get the oppurtunity then i will use a jumpsuit from the church. and as for my other clothes, all is good. everything is holding up so don't worry about it. so i will send fotos of Bruno, tamara and the rain. and some of me and my comp with a caracater(?) that Tamara drew of us. its pretty funny! For the most part everything is going good. I am just waiting for this transfer to end because my comp is me. He doesn't really want to work (mainly because he is going home in a month and a half), so i am just doing what i can and putting up with him. it is really stressful and annoying and depressing because i want to work. i am happiest when we are working, but when my comp doesnt want to it makes everything so much harder. we could be baptize everyweek, but you have to work hard to do that in this area, and just one working doesn't get the job done. but all will work out. My biggest problem now is just staying focused and not let his lazyiness rub off on me. But i know the Lord will help me if i do my part. Send my love to the peterson family. tell them i am praying for them. I love you all so much and am so gratefull for all your love and support! Thanks for being an awesome family!! The church is True!!! Jesus Cristo is our Savior and this is his Church!! The Book of Mormon is the word of God!!! and Thomas S. Monson is the Profet of God!!! I love You all so much!!!! Que Pena....MJ Morreu:).....June 29, 2009

Família!!!!!!

So another week has passed by... finally! this week was dragging on like crazy and i have no idea why. But a new week is here! So what's new with you guys? besides Dallin being sick? :)
Whats this crap about everybody getting freaking married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, this sucks!!!! I'm going to return home and everyone will be married with three kids!!!!! Crap dude. whats with everyone.... :) Tell Derek Congrats! and tell Matt Congrats also! So who is mandi?
Hey hey, did you guys hear that Michael Jackson Died!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) man, everyone has been asking me if i know yet. they say.. hey are you american? yes. did you know Michael Jackson died? yup!!!!!!! hahaha :) and now everyone is playing his music in the streets. every once in a while we catch a good song of his:)
so on Saturday we baptized a g irl named Tamara! it was way cool!! she has 15 yrs and is way firme!!! we told her to start reading the bom from the beginning last week and she is already in the book of mosiah! she already passed me up. I am way excited about her. today i sent a letter telling a little more about her and her family because her dad is basically a drunk that doesn't give any attention to his family. she was almost crying at her baptism because her dad hadn't showed up, but luckily he showed up just in time. But on domingo she was way happy and excited to receive the holy ghost!
one thing i always like to do is ask the baptized how they feel after the baptism. when i asked Tamara she stopped and thinked for a second and then said that she felt Light! It was really cool, the spirit was really strong! I have really enjoyed teaching her because she truly wants to know the truth and follow!! at the start she had so many questions! but that's what helps people stay strong in the gospel! asking and learning!!!
I would send a foto but this crappy computer doesn't have a place to plug in my camera. oh yes mom, a pen drive is a flash drive, i just forgot the name because here it is a pen drive:)
So Dad, that was really interesting what you said about the scripture. I hadn't thought the wicked also have to ressurect. as we know, everyone will resurrect because of the mercy of Cristo.. so,hmm. I dunno I'll have to think and study some more. and Adam and Eve broke the commandment to not eat the fruit, they gave in to temptation and chose for themselves to eat. but the law they broke i'm not sure, I'll have to study more about the fall.
Well everyone, I love you all!!! the church is true!! Jesus is the Cristo!!!! and the Book of Mormon is the Word of God!!! I love you!!!!!!
